About Lasting Index

An evidence catalogue, not a product ranking.

Lasting Index helps households inspect appliance records without collapsing different markets, sources or levels of evidence into one unsupported answer.

What we publish

The public catalogue organises official washing-machine, dishwasher and refrigerator records into searchable model pages. Each fact keeps its publisher, source record, market, observation date and evidence type. Where sources disagree or omit a field, that uncertainty stays visible.

Why it is different

Lasting Index does not treat a model name as proof that products sold in different countries are identical. Regional relationships remain separate until a reviewer approves a merge with evidence. Official registrations, statutory scores, recalls, calculations and any future community reports are labelled as different kinds of information.

Funding and independence

The service has been privately funded during development and intends to use restrained display advertising after platform approval. Advertising cannot buy a ranking, change catalogue order, select a source, suppress a recall warning or alter an editorial conclusion. No affiliate links, paid placements or repair-lead sales are currently enabled.

Limits

Lasting Index has not physically tested every listed appliance. A missing recall match is not proof that a product is safe, and a registration record is not a recommendation to buy. Visitors should check the linked official notice or source and use a qualified service provider where electrical, gas, refrigerant, fire or other safety risks may exist.
